Member of the Ecolabel Ecoaudit Committee - Emas Italia Section, as well as, legislative expert of the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of the Environment and member of the Italian Register of Environmental Operators. Since 1990 she has been an expert on environmental issues for "Il Sole 24 Ore" and since 1994 Editor-in-chief of the Waste - Regulatory Bulletin" magazine (Rivista Rifiuti – Bollettino di informazione normativa).
Paola Ficco is currently in charge for coordinating the legislative activities of theFoundation for Sustainable Development (Susdef) and author of numerous articles and publications for Il Sole 24 Ore, Buffetti, Maggioli, Utet and Edizioni Ambiente, for which she also coordinate the legislative area and she is responsible for education courses on Waste Management too.
Consultant of the bicameral Commission of inquiry on illegal activities related to the waste cycle and related environmental offences (XV and XVIII Legislature).
She is also a member of the Committees established by the Ministry of the Environment for complying and implementing EU directives on the circular economy.
