The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) is a comprehensive environmental communication campaign aimed at raising public awareness about the excessive amount of waste we generate and the urgent need to reduce it significantly. The focus is on waste prevention, and every initiative carried out during the EWWR highlights how all members of society, including individual citizens, can creatively contribute to reducing waste and help spread this message of action.

In line with this year’s focus on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Ecomondo joined the EWWR through the RAEE-START project: a dedicated collection initiative for small WEEE items, held during the exhibition days.
