Event
The plenary session will address the current state and future prospects of organic waste collection and recycling in Europe and Italy. Specific attention will be devoted to assessing the characteristics, benefits and impacts of organic waste management: from the quality of collected organic waste streams, based on the surveys continuously carried out by CIC throughout Italy, to the performance of the treatment system and the valorisation of final products. The latter will also be explored through the presentation of the Agreement for compost valorisation and the promotion of its use.
