GREEN JOBS & SKILLS

Where demand meets supply

Ecomondo, through its "Green Jobs & Skills" initiative, positions itself as a facilitator between job demand and supply, targeting:

  • Recent graduates and high school seniors from technical institutes

  • Young professionals

  • Workers looking to shift towards sustainability

  • Companies committed to the ecological transition

The initiative offers an event program focused on skills development, career guidance, and training, aiming to spark synergies between young talent and companies.

A project that looks ahead

Green Jobs & Skills is an initiative by IEG and Ecomondo, coordinated by Marco Gisotti - journalist, science communicator, and Scientific Director of the agency Green Factor.

As part of the broader Innovation Project, which includes the involvement of emerging businesses through Start-Up & Scale-Up and the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award, Green Jobs & Skills aims to be a true meeting point between job demand and skills supply, as well as a valuable opportunity for career guidance and orientation.

ART-ER | Project management in the hands of experts

As part of the Green Jobs & Skills initiative, ART-ER – Competencies and Territories Unit will coordinate the Green Skills & Jobs Tour.

The goal is to enhance highly specialized talent for the benefit of companies, promote matching between talent and Emilia-Romagna-based businesses, support the development of a regional innovation community, and highlight both the innovation needs of companies and the skills of students, graduates, and PhD candidates in the fields of sustainability and ecological transition.

Highly specialized individuals—regardless of their geographic or academic background—will be guided by ART-ER in a curated and free guided tour of selected Emilia-Romagna company stands at the fair, with the opportunity to engage directly with some of the region’s most innovative players in green and sustainability-related fields.
