Environmental engineer graduated from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", professional qualification from the Order of Engineers of the province of Rome and Diploma of Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences and Administration - National School of Administration (SNA) - obtained from the LUISS School of European Political Economy.

Twenty years of experience in the waste sector with specific skills in plants and technologies related to the treatment and disposal of waste and in the preparation of technical regulations for the sector. Collaborates with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security providing technical and scientific support in regulatory activities and in the planning and programming of interventions in the field of sustainable development.

She is a technical consultant to the Bicameral Commission of Inquiry into illegal activities connected to the waste cycle and related environmental crimes (XVII and XVIII and XIX legislature).

She is the author / co-author of over 60 technical and scientific publications and participates in numerous events, with the preparation of original contributions.

She is the Director of the Department for Environmental Assessment, Monitoring and  Sustainability of ISPRA
