Senior Expert in the fisheries and aquaculture sector, he holds the position of Emilia-Romagna Fishing and Aquaculture Manager for Legacoop Agroalimentare Northern Italy and He is the National Manager for the training of fishermen and the safety and health of workers on board of Legacoop Agroalimentare. Member of the Social Dialogue Committee “Sea Fishing sector “, European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, since 2004.

Member of the European Advisory Council of the fishery and aquaculture product markets representing COPA/COGECA and the Alliance of Italian Fisheries Cooperatives. He actively works in the field of the Blue Economy contributing to the blue growth through consultancy, research and development activities. Teacher "fish supply chain" in the context of Higher Technical Education at the ITS Agroalimentare Puglia Foundation.

He has been a project manager for over twenty-five years within the various European programs and transnational and international cooperation projects operating in various EU countries, North Africa, Central and South America.
