Marzia Chiesa

Marzia Chiesa is Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer of Sodai S.p.A., an Italian company with over 40 years of experience in industrial water treatment and water management, now part of the international group Nijhuis Saur Industries. She coordinates strategy, CSR, and marketing for the group's Italian companies, leading the integration of sustainability into the business and the development of innovative projects for water recovery and reuse. She promotes empathetic and inclusive leadership. She is President of AssoESG, a non-profit association that promotes the culture of sustainability as a lever for competitiveness. She led the transformation of the family business into a model of industrial sustainability, launching pioneering circular economy projects and developing "water positive" models for industry, using blockchain to ensure transparency and measurability of results. In 2025, she joined the Water Positive Think Tank, a global network of experts, scientists, and leaders committed to redesigning the future of regenerative water resource management.
