Andrea Balestra graduated in 2012 in environmental engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) and has been working at Lombardi Ltd. since 2013. Former Secretary General of the Swiss Committee on Dams (2019-2025), he currently holds the role of Division Head and Project Manager in the field of dams and hydroelectric power within the Energy and Water Department. He leads a team active in civil and hydraulic design in relation to dam rehabilitation projects and the planning of new dams.
