Strengthening Local Environmental Governance Processes: Challenges and Opportunities for a Just Ecological Transition

Ravezzi 1 Room South Hall

The workshop is integrated within the European Life Help project, aiming to strengthen public administrations' ability to embed environmental objectives in urban planning and governance. It targets local environmental governance challenges in order to promote coordination within municipal sectors, collaboration with external stakeholders, and active citizen involvement.

The Municipality of Rimini, project lead, is advancing the new General Urban Plan (PUG), leveraging Life Help’s tools to inform strategic urban development.
