Event
The current situation, both globally and in Europe, is guiding the electrical and electronic equipment sector towards strategies focused on the circular economy. The intention is to increase the amount of materials recovered from waste recycling, thereby promoting an increase in waste collection by both consumers and professional environments such as offices and industries. During the event, exemplary practices to improve waste management will be examined, discussing innovative solutions along the value chain of advanced technology products and the potential offered by new regulations, such as packaging regulations, battery regulations, the CRM Act, and the upcoming revision of the WEEE Directive. Initiatives relevant to three sectors connected to advanced technology products will be explored: electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators, and electronic product packaging.
