Evento
CARINA is a Horizon Europe–funded project that advances sustainable, diversified farming systems, focusing on two crops, camelina and carinata, to supply certified low-iLUC feedstocks for the bio-based economy. Moreover, it aims at demonstrating that increasing the diversification of cropping systems by adopting effective crop combinations will enhance yield stability, farmers’ revenue and the overall sustainability of farming systems, while contributing to the bioeconomy sector.
This workshop is part of a series conducting an ex-ante impact assessment of policy interventions for the future development of Europe’s bio-based value chains. Its objective is to collaboratively explore the potential impacts of four alternative policy scenarios. During the discussion, participants will explore potential first-order effects and value-chain implications, clarifying stakeholders’ roles in the transition to sustainable bio-based products
