Accelerating Industrial Decarbonisation: Connecting Manufacturing SMEs with Green Technology Solutions

Organized by the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) within the CREDIT4CE project, this interactive session will bring together manufacturing SMEs, green-technology and service providers, technical experts, innovation agencies and other stakeholders working towards climate-neutral and resource-efficient manufacturing.

The session will present key CREDIT4CE findings on the decarbonisation needs of manufacturing SMEs and introduce practical project activities, support opportunities and pathways available to companies and solution providers. It will address the main technical, financial and organisational barriers that can slow down the uptake of low-carbon solutions and explore topics such as energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, circular manufacturing, process optimisation, digitalisation and emissions management.

Particular attention will be given to connecting the needs of manufacturing companies with suitable technologies, expertise and feasible investment pathways that can help reduce emissions while maintaining productivity and competitiveness.

Through an interactive exchange between demand-side and supply-side actors, participants will discuss practical challenges, share technical knowledge and explore opportunities for cooperation and knowledge transfer. The session will create space for manufacturing companies, solution providers and experts to exchange perspectives and identify practical next steps that can support SMEs in their decarbonisation journeys.

By strengthening links between manufacturing companies, solution providers and experts, the session will contribute to cross-border cooperation, knowledge exchange and the wider uptake of practical decarbonisation solutions across European manufacturing SMEs.
