Sara Guerrini

Biography

Sara Guerrini is an agronomist and holds a PhD in Soil Chemistry. For over 20 years she has been working in the field of bioplastics for agriculture, circular bioeconomy and soil health. For over 15 years she has been involved in public affairs, with consolidated experience in policies, legislation and regulatory processes in the agricultural, environmental and circular economy sectors at national and European level. She also participates in technical standardisation committees related to biodegradable materials. A member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Re Soil Foundation, she contributes to the dialogue between research, businesses and policy makers to promote innovation and sustainability in agricultural systems. She is the author of numerous scientific publications on the topics of biodegradable bioplastics, soil health and sustainable agriculture.
