Michele Munafò

Biography

Michele Munafò, environmental and territorial engineer and PhD in urban planning. ISPRA Manager, scientific coordinator of the national reports on soil consumption, urban ecosystems and territorial status of the National System for Environmental Protection (SNPA). National Focal Point for the Eionet network of the European Environment Agency, main contact point on Land Use and Land Cover topics and for Copernicus Land Monitoring activities, national Reporter for Corine Land Cover, member of the Expert Group on Soil Protection of the European Commission. He carries out academic activities as an adjunct professor in the field of Urban Planning Techniques and Planning, as a member of the PhD College in Infrastructure and Transport and of the Steering Committee of the Teaching Area Council in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the Sapienza University of Rome.
