Francesco Corvaro

Biography

Francesco Corvaro is Special Envoy of the Italian Government for Climate Change and Full Professor of Thermal Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Marche. In his institutional role, he represents Italy in the main international processes dedicated to climate, contributing to multilateral negotiations and international cooperation for a fair, resilient and sustainable energy transition. He has taken part in the main events of global climate diplomacy, including the UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties. His academic and scientific activity covers thermodynamics, energy systems, energy efficiency, renewable energies, sustainability technologies and CO₂ management. His work combines technical-scientific expertise, public policies and climate diplomacy, with particular focus on innovation and energy transition.
