Eliana Quartarone

Eliana Quartarone is Full Professor of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Pavia (IT). She is leader of R2BATT_lab (infrastructure of the EcoCirc project funded by Regione Lombardia), whose activities are focused on the development of sustainable approaches for batteries and WEEEs recycling and reuse. EQ is coordinator of the: i) Horizon Europe RENOVATE project 'A circular and chemistry-neutral approach for recycling and recovery of battery waste feeds and ii) national MASE 2022 project Riciclo sostEnibile di BaTteRiE al LiTio: (RETREAT), and partner in several European projects (e.g. Automat, Batmass, BEST, Take Back). EQ is Research Chair of the BATT4EU Partnership - BEPA of the Working Group WG2 on Raw Materials & Recycling. EQ is author and co-author of more than 156 articles (H index: 52, Scopus) and 5 book chapters.
