Eleonora Foschi

Biography

Eleonora Foschi is a permanent researcher at the Department for Sustainability of ENEA, and is a faculty member and lecturer at the Centre for Sustainability and Climate Change of Bologna Business School. An environmental engineer by training, she has over ten years of experience as a PhD student and subsequently as an assistant professor at the University of Bologna. She has carried out research periods as a visiting researcher at Delft University of Technology, Leuphana University, Catholic University of Lille and Lomartov, contributing to EU research projects focused on circularity in the packaging, toys, agri-food, automotive and fashion sectors. Her professional background also includes experience at the innovative start-up REPACK and the territorial agency ARPAE, strengthening her expertise at the interface between research, business and public policy. She participates in technical committees and working groups on ecodesign at national and European level. Her research activity integrates the technical and managerial dimensions of the circular economy, with particular focus on eco-design, innovative materials and circular business models.
