Danilo Bonato

Graduated in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, MBA from San Diego State University, he has dedicated his professional career to promoting sustainability and developing solutions to foster the establishment of the circular economy paradigm. As Director of Strategic Development and Institutional Relations at Erion, the largest non-profit multi-consortia System in Italy for Extended Producer Responsibility, he is engaged in constant dialogue with institutions and stakeholders aimed at enhancing recycling as a competitive lever for the industrial development of our country. He was one of the Italian members of the High-Level Committee on Raw Materials of the European Commission and of the Board for Rare Earths. He is a member of the Scientific Technical Committee of Ecomondo and of CETMA, he is part of the Presidential Committee of the Foundation for Sustainable Development and is Vice President of the European regulatory compliance services company Pronexa. He is the author of numerous scientific and environmental publications, books on sustainable development, and teaches courses and seminars on circular economy, strategic raw materials and ecological transition.
