Concetta Lodato

Concetta Lodato is a Project Officer in the Joint Research Centre’s Directorate D, Sustainable Resources, Sustainable Supply Chains and Bioeconomy. Her expertise lies in material flow analysis, life cycle assessment, and the circular economy transition. She holds a PhD in process oriented LCA of (bio)energy technologies from the Technical University of Denmark. At the JRC, she supports the development of methods that embed circularity into the Critical Raw Materials, helping to shape EU policy on strategic autonomy and resource efficiency. She coordinates multi partner research on waste streams, contributes to high level policy reports, and her work aims to accelerate the integration of circular economy principles into European supply chains.
