Andrea Falchini

Andrea Falchini leads Next Technology Tecnotessile, a textile research center based in Prato, Italy, active for decades in innovation, sustainability and technology transfer for the textile sector. Under his direction, the center develops national and European research projects on circular economy, mechanical and chemical recycling of textile fibres, and the reduction of the supply chain's environmental impact — from the management of chemical substances and microplastics to emerging regulations on ecodesign and the digital product passport. Alongside his managerial role, he teaches at university level, contributing to the training of the next generation of technicians and experts in the field.
