With Shades of Circularity, Ecomondo explores circularity in the textile industry through a project developed in collaboration with Gruppo Hera and SCART – The Beautiful Side of Waste. Colour and textiles take centre stage, coming together in a striking rainbow installation that reveals a different perspective at every glance.

The artwork encourages visitors to look beyond the finished product and consider the resources behind it, the production processes involved and the industrial choices that shape its environmental impact. It also draws attention to the value of materials, responsibility across the textile value chain and the opportunities to rethink the life cycle of textile products through a more circular approach.

Ecomondo 2026 puts the spotlight on Mexico, this year’s Guest Country, bringing together international perspectives on innovation, sustainability and development, while creating new opportunities for businesses to connect and collaborate.

The Ecomondo Hosted Buyers Program offers qualified international professionals the opportunity to connect with leading companies in the green and circular economy sectors. Through targeted B2B meetings with exhibitors, dedicated services and access to key industry players, the program helps buyers discover innovative solutions, build strategic partnerships and explore new business opportunities.

Organised by Ecomondo in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the initiative combines business networking with a tailored experience at the fair.
