Evento
The textile sector is entering a new regulatory and technological phase driven by the Digital Product Passport (DPP) under the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). This session will explore how digital systems, artificial intelligence and new technologies can enhance transparency, optimize sorting processes and improve the quality of secondary raw materials - key enablers for a truly circular fashion system. Particular attention will be given to the integration of DPP with product identification technologies, enabling efficient and reliable data exchange between producers, EPR schemes and end-of-life operators. By bringing together policy, industrial and technological perspectives, the session aims to deliver actionable insights to accelerate circularity across the textile value chain.
