Concept
Strengthening internationalization is an increasingly important success factor for every activity, so Ecomondo 2006 offers exhibiting firms a busy program of meetings and initiatives with international buyers: - AL INVEST: The program of the European Commission on the environment aimed at facilitating the search for clients and new partners in Latin America by means of bilateral meetings held during the trade fair - Business meetings and foreign delegations: in collaboration with ICE (Italian Foreign Trade Institute), fine-tuned one to one meetings will be organized between Italian exhibitors and sixty international buyers from eighteen countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia – Herzegovina, Macedonia, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Libya and China.
Rimini Fiera has set up a widespread cooperation network on international markets, particularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Croatia, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Spain, Israel, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, and (soon) China. In 2006, it also took part in many of the sector’s international trade fairs (Poleko, Pollutec, Smagua, Tecma, Energy-Hannover Messe) and sponsored the Green Ventures initiative held in Potsdam from June 7th to 9th 2006.
Ecomondo China is an Italian exhibit area at IFAT China. The next edition will be held in June 2008. Ecomondo Russia is a show/conference for meeting qualified Russian trade members from the environment and energy fields
Lastly, cooperation agreements with the ISWA (International Solid Waste Association) and the European-wide EEP (European Environmental Press) association must also be taken into consideration. 105 ad pages have already been published for Europe and the rest of the world, and a high profile promo mail campaign is also under way, with 4,900 mailings to international buyers so far.
